We know that many flashcards are blocked by
3DS 4.5.0 -10, but both R4i Gold 3DS and R4iSDHC 3DS can support 3DS V4.5.0 -10 at present,
which are just after the Supercard Dstwo.
The R4i Gold 3DS (Revision C) with the “deep labyrinth” icon can pass by 3DS V
The R4i-SDHC team releases a new R4i SDHC 3DS card, which
is printed with “V4.5” can support the latest 3DS V4.5.0 -10
& DSi V1.4.5 successfully. But the update patch has not been released yet.
So the non-“V4.5” R4i SDHC 3DS users should not update the 3DS firmware to
V4.5.0-10.
Both of their kernels are also updated
frequently. The latest R4i Gold 3DS kernel is Wood R4 V1.55, released on
December 15. RTS has been added into WOOD R4 V1.55. The kernel of R4i SDHC 3DS
has updated to V1.64b on November 16.
As a matter of fact, only few differences
exist between them. For now, both R4i Gold 3DS and R4i SDHC 3DS are excellent
and popular 3DS flashcards.
