SKY3DS Breakthrough 10 Games Limit Special Turtorial

SKY3DS can play 20 games at least, breaking the limit of 10 games by special operation.

First of all, Supposed you’ve already got 10 games in your microSD card, see these games order in the following table:

You can then format either that microSD card or another new one by Diskwriter, and rewrite the games sequentially into the microSD card at order: A, a, B, b,CThe new games you would like to play more (more than 10) : a, b, c, d, e..
Turn on your 3DS console, insert your SKY3ds card with that microSD card, while the Game “A” logo image is showing on the top screen of console, follow the steps below:
1. Press the red button on SKY3ds, the blue light turns on, when it keep fast flashing, take out the SKY3ds card immediately.
2. Re-insert SKY3ds card, the Game “a” logo image will show on your 3DS console, press the red button quickly, you got the Game “a” run properly now once the blue light keep flashing.
You can get any/more new games b, c, d…run by the same way as long as you put the new game between any two old games(A,B,C,D,…J, which has been remembered by SKY3ds card) in pattern A, a, B, b, C… and rewrite them together into the microSD card. That’s all! Enjoy you SKY3ds card now!

What Tricks Gateway had up its Sleeve?

As known to us all, Gateway 3ds has to work on 3ds system version 4.5~4.1, at most featuring with emunand 3ds system 9.0.0.  It is the old history because gateway safely assure that they have tricks up their sleeve.

Today Gateway announced that SUPPORT FOR FIRMWARE 9.0 – 9.2 natively COMING.
It is really a milestone that gateway break 3ds ver 4.5 limit and allowing native system 5.0 user to enjoy 3ds games soon. Of course gateway 3ds will support 2ds and new 3ds console. That reminds us of the amazing SKY3DS flashcard, 1st new 3ds cartridge playing any 3ds games on any 3ds system firmware and 2DS, new 3DS console.

But the approach of gateway seems a little different. Gateway lets us native System Firmware 5.0 or higher, then please update to 9.0.0-20, 9.1.0-20J or 9.2.0-20 and stay on this version. The size of SKY3DS is almost the same as general real game card, but with a little difference is that there is a slot for SD, a switch for changing games by slightly press one time, and a signal light for reminding us when we plug into the sky3ds or changing the games.

For region lock aspect, we got the SKY3DS with Pokemon y, animal crossing, mario 3d land etc…it is true that these US version games can’t be read by Japanese console. We don’t know much about the region locking is based on game titles itself or the version of titles. We guess it’s the second reason.

Last but not the least, after we carefully test for sky3ds, it approved that the sky3ds is really supporting 3ds games on any of the 3ds versions, included the latest V9.2.0-20 , you can easily to plug and play with multirom support, without doing anything for exploits preload , not the same as gateway 3ds flashcard.
