How to Update Firmware of R4i gold 3DS card to Work on 3DS 6.2.0-12U

R4i gold 3DS official team has released upgrade patch for Nintendo newest 3DS firmware 6.2.0-12U.

Pay attention that you must not update your 3DS to 6.2.0 before upgrading your R4i gold 3DS card.

You can follow the steps below to update your R4i gold 3DS.

1.       Download the wood kernel of R4i gold 3DS card and extract the file. Then access the folder and drag all files into your Micro SD card. (You can skip this step if your Micro SD card has already had the kernel)

2.       Download Updating patch and unzip it. Open the folder and put all files into the root of your Micro SD card.

    Upgrade Patch for 3DS V6.2.0-12 Download

3.       Run R4iGold_3DS62_Patch_NDSi_3DS.nds to update your R4i gold 3DS card

Note: If your 3DS has been updated to Version 6.2.0, you should update the R4i gold 3DS card on a DS, DS Lite or a DSi. Keep your console fully charged, or your flashcart will be bricked if it powers off during updating.

Then your R4i gold 3DS card can work on the 3DS console with firmware version 6.2.0.
