How to use R4i-SDHC 3DS RTS to do Homebrew?

The R4i-SDHC 3DS RTS is one best flashcart for 3DS LL/N3DS/NDSi XL/NDSi/NDSL/NDS. Until now with the latest kernel released on 4-19-2014, it work perfectly with Nintendo 3DS 7.2.0-17，7.1.0-16 perfectly without any update. The R4i-SDHC 3DS RTS has so many powerful features such as Real-time save, Real-time guide , User-cheat features. Here just talk about homebrew, how to set up the homebrew features?

Step 1. Insert your microsd card into the card reader, connect it with your computer, and format the microsd card. Download the latest r4i-sdhc kernel v1.79b from here or our firmware download section. After done, unzip the “R4i-3DS V1.79b English.zip”

Step 2. Open the “R4i-3DS V1.79b English” kernel, drag and drop all the contents directly to your microsd card, take not that not under any folder. And drag the homebrew game file directly to the microsd card too.

Step 3. Remove the microsd card from computer, and insert it to the r4i-sdhc 3ds rts card


Step 4. Insert the r4i-sdhc 3ds rts card to the top of the 3ds game slot

Step 5. Power on the 3ds and click the “Bomberman Land Nintendo” icon

Step 6. Touch the game controller

Step 7. Select the homebrew game and press “A”

Step 8. Enjoy !
